"Upon graduating from college with a BA degree, I started my working career at Disney Press in Manhattan, NY. After being employed for some time as an editorial assistant, I was "let go" because I was told I was too nice! It was at that moment I realized my calling was not in publishing. Unsure what direction to take, I returned to college for a 16 month stint and earned an Associates Degree in Math and Science. The anatomy and physiology classes fascinated me so I continued on that path at the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Graduating in 1997 with honors, I began a career in Massage Therapy and found helping people eradicate their muscle pain and find balance throughout very rewarding. After spending time working in Michigan, New York, and Kansas, I opened my business in Leesburg, VA in 2004.
Since 1997 I have worked on countless individuals and have learned so much about life from every one of them, not to mention the practical experience! Every time I meet a new client, I embrace the opportunity to learn something new.
In my spare time I enjoy raising my 3 teenage children and spending time outdoors with them, my husband, and our lab named Clutch. I love eating healthy, history, and traveling. The latest loves of my life are our crazy kittens named Bow and Rain!"
